Description
In this slab-building ceramics workshop, participants will design and build a small lidded clay box — ideal for jewelry, trinkets, notes, or personal keepsakes. Using handbuilding techniques, you’ll learn how to shape slabs, construct a fitted lid, and add surface details through carving, texture, and simple decorative elements.
This class is beginner-friendly and fully guided, while still allowing space for individual style and creative expression. It’s a thoughtful, hands-on experience that results in a functional and meaningful object you can keep or gift. All pieces will be fired after the workshop and available for pickup at a later date.
