Marcus Branch’s solo show, ‘Smell Your Flowers’ uplifts, honors, and celebrates Black and Brown members of the Trans community. To ‘stop and smell the flowers’ is a privilege that many members of the Trans community no longer have. Amidst the constant threat of violence the Trans community faces, peace, joy, and celebration are often left by the wayside. Branch’s show instead centers and uplifts the Trans community to do just that; obtain peace, feel joy, and celebrate.

Marcus Branch is a black and queer photographer based between Philadelphia and NYC who has worked with publications and star talent globally including Dominique Jackson of Pose, Billy Porter, Tina Knowles, i-D, Dazed Magazine, Ari Lennox, Marie Claire, Keiynan Lonsdale, Interview Magazine, &  Fotomania. Passionate about documenting queer and black communities, Branch’s photographic work celebrates the BIPOC and LGBTQ+ experience, embraces diversity and inclusivity, and contributes a broadened perspective of underrepresented communities.
