I <3 Fantasy

I <3 fantasy is a playful, devotional body of sculptural paintings—and the artist’s love letter to the desire we’re trained to doubt. References of pop culture, mythology, and the erotic present themselves boldly in contemporary hues: bathers in snapbacks, girlfriends capturing selfies in good jeans, lovers and loners under bright casino lights, a package licked like a love letter sealed with a kiss, a nude in the grass mapping the cosmos while the skyline hums behind her. Pleasure and prophecy, technology and flesh, myth and the everyday — collide. Here…. fantasy is not an escape- but a way to always remember the quiet vow you made to yourself to never give up.
