About
We’re excited to announce ‘Already Hasn’t Happened,’ a solo exhibition by Jonathan Yubi. Opening April 26th through June 7th.
In anticipation of America’s impending Semiquincentennial, Already Hasn’t Happened explores how our history is constructed, revised, rewritten, or often misrepresented. Construction workers stand as placeholders in these stories—unseen, unnamed laborers whose presence points to the invisible hands behind our national narrative.
Our national mythology—our shared stories—binds us as a people. But where do these narratives intersect with personal histories? How does collective memory reconcile itself with individual truth?
