Welcome to Mission in Arts Clay Studio. We are located in the Olde Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia. We are a member-sustained community workspace! By becoming a member at our clay studio, you’ll also be supporting our mission to keep art accessible, and bring opportunities to artists throughout the community.

Our studio is designed for artists and makers who have a fundamental knowledge of process and practice and who need little to no direction. Each membership must be approved once an application has been submitted. You’ll find the full list of member benefits, equipment list and application below.

3-Month commitment, billed monthly.

Membership Benefits

Access to studio during open hours: Monday – Sunday: 8am – 12am
Access to all studio equipment
2’x2′ Member storage shelf + Shared overflow
25lbs of clay with new membership
Kiln firing included (Bisque/Glaze) – Typically a half shelf
Studio Cone 6 Glazes, Underglazes, Wax Resist, Brushes, Containers, etc
Our studio carries two clay bodies. Clay bodies can be purchased directly from us or from local distributor.
Access to our studio kitchen (Coffee, Tea, Water & Microwave)
Access to our private patio garden workspace
